Precision Over Panic
A sniper in a ghillie suit waits patiently among dense foliage, rifle at the ready.
Snipers remain motionless for extended periods, maintaining focus and waiting for the perfect opportunity to fire.
At times they have to wait for DAYS/WEEKS without shooting.
Sniping is a waiting game. Sometimes a suitable target takes days to appear. They have to stay motionless, they even have to pee in their suit.
They utilise the time studying the terrain, mentally creating escape plans & so on.
A sniper goes through a range of emotions. Fear, excitement, hope, adrenaline, they’re all going to be coursing through your veins. Maybe you take a shot before you’ve fully doped out the target. Or maybe you pull the trigger when you don’t have a great visual. You can’t let this happen. You need to embrace the sniper motto of “suffer silently, silently suffer.”
Imagine, having precision level skill and still you don’t get to shoot for months.
There are great snipers who have taken just 3-4 shots in their entire career.
In contrast, a machine gun spray utilizes rapid, uncontrolled fire to overwhelm a target or area with a large volume of projectiles.
A sniper, on the other hand, focuses on precise, single shots at long distances, prioritizing accuracy and potentially inflicting critical damage with a single bullet.
The sniper approach is about calculated precision, while the machine gun spray is about overwhelming firepower, though with less accuracy
As a trader, you are not carrying a machine gun that you go out and SPRAY all around. You are a sniper. You wait.
